Personal Development Program (PDP)

In addition to our media arts programs, The Asian Culture and Media Alliance, Inc. (ACMA) is dedicated to fostering personal development and empowerment within underserved communities throughout Southern California. Our comprehensive program offerings are designed to uplift and empower individuals, particularly youth and women, by providing them with vital skills and resources needed to thrive in today’s world. Through a holistic approach, we address vocational training, career assessment, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, media arts literacy, nonprofit creation, business networking, and civic engagement. ACMA’s commitment is to nurture personal growth, equip individuals with tools for success, and facilitate community building that leaves a lasting impact.

Vocational Training

We aim to provide a hands-on program that equips participants with practical skills and knowledge in various vocational fields, preparing them for meaningful employment opportunities.  In particular, ACMA’s media arts initiatives empower youth and women in underserved communities to find their voices and share their stories through creative expression.

Career Assessment and Mentoring

ACMA’s Advisory Board members who are comprised of media, community, and business leaders in various industries will provide participants with personalized career assessments and mentoring to identify their strengths and interests, guiding them toward fulfilling career paths.

Financial Literacy and Planning

Through financial literacy workshops and webinars provided by ACMA’s community partners, individuals are taught essential money management skills, enabling them to make informed financial decisions and plan for a secure future.

Entrepreneurship

Aspiring entrepreneurs gain the tools and guidance needed to start and grow their own businesses, fostering economic independence and self-reliance.

Media Arts Literacy

Participants develop media literacy skills, including digital storytelling and content creation, empowering them to effectively communicate and advocate for their communities.
