E4Women in Health & Wellness Panelists
Dr. Dia Wong is a licensed acupuncturist that has been privileged to follow many paths, including medicine, business, music and the performing arts. Overcoming her own health crisis launched her into natural medicine in the early 2000s. Since then she has been driven to help others find balance and healing with traditional Chinese medicine. As an ambassador for acupuncture and natural medicine, she has sought to educate through media appearances, educational workshops and community outreach. She is currently pursuing a juris doctorate, inspired by legal challenges faced by acupuncturists as well as the desire to be an actor of substantive change in addressing social injustice.
Dr. Amy Kim is a licensed psychologist who earned her B.A. from Columbia University. Dr. Kim focuses on identifying goals and eliminating negative symptoms and habits amongst adults, all while exploring identity (cultural, career, life transitions) and relationships (peers, intimates, family) to promote a more authentic experience of oneself. Her experience offers a unique perspective as a mental health professional amidst one of the most difficult and confusing times many of us have known—the 2020 pandemic.
E4Women is a Webinar series produced by ACMA designed to educate, empower and activate younger generations of women of color–especially women of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) descent–who aspire to pursue pathways in entrepreneurial business and seeking personal growth. A distinguished panel of experts in these fields will discuss methods, technologies, and strategies for success, as well as share their personal experiences as women of color in pursuit of their dreams.
The E4Women Series is co-sponsored by the Korean Women’s International Network (KOWIN) San Diego Chapter. For more information on upcoming E4Women webinars, visit our E4Women Page.

E4Women in Business
The E4Women in Business Webinar featured 4 women who had left their former occupations to pursue their own entrepreneurial goals. Each of our esteemed guests, business owners and CEOs, shared their personal journeys on how they built their organizations from the ground up while having to teach themselves along the way. By sharing their stories during this webinar, they hoped to inspire other aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their passion and achieve their goals.
E4Women in Media
The E4Women in Media webinar featured 8 women from various sectors within the film and media industries. Each panelist shared their personal experience and advice as Asian American women and creators in a non-traditional career field. This conversation focused on filmmaking, writing, digital marketing, and podcast/broadcast media.
MediActivism is an online panel discussion for young adults (ages 18-25) who are interested in learning how to understand different forms of media in community activism. We believe that anyone can use media to tell a story, or create awareness and educate others about important issues and events. ACMA is honored to host a special guest panel of individuals who use their knowledge and platform to empower the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
We encourage student organizations and college departments to share this valuable resource with their members. For more information on upcoming webinars, visit our MediActivism Page.
