The Bel Canto Performance Foundation will be hosting its fifth annual concert on Saturday 8/24 at the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church (4321 Eastgate Mall, San Diego, CA  92121).  Ms. Lucy Lin, the founder of the Foundation, has gathered outstanding talents for a memorable performance of instrumental and vocal music.

The concert will feature more than 16 musicians, many of whom have performed at the world’s most prestigious concert halls including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and the Rudolfinum in Prague, and who have played with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony and more.

The performers will include local musicians such as Dr. Cho-Hyun Park, Rodney Girvin, John Craig Johnson and singers from A Touch of Opera studio, as well as out of town artists Filip Pogády, James Vaughen, Ann Newton Vaughen, Dr. Michael C. Liu and Dr. Igor Shakhman.  Many artists have returned year after year because they really feel a connection with the audience through their beautiful craft.

This year’s program includes music from César Franck, Bach, Mozart, Sergei Vasilenko, Rossini, Mikhail Glinka, Nikolai Kapstin, Donizetti, James Cameron, Verdi, Tomaso Antonio Vitali and more.

The concert will begin at 7 PM, with a suggested free will donation of $25 per ticket. For information, please contact belcantoperformancefoundation@gmail.com.
