Asian Culture and Media Alliance Announces its LA Media Arts Hub at Long Time Broadcast Network Partner Television Korea 24, Inc.

Los Angeles, CA – The Asian Culture and Media Alliance (ACMA), a trailblazing organization dedicated to providing media arts programs and cultural events for Asian-Pacific American communities in Southern California, has forged a groundbreaking partnership with Television Korea 24, Inc. (TVK24), a prominent cable broadcast network. This collaboration grants ACMA access to TVK24’s studio and facilities, establishing a dynamic media hub in Los Angeles.

Cathlyn Choi, the Executive Director of ACMA and producer of the Asian Pacific Voices TV and Radio Podcast series, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “As we celebrate a decade of promoting cultural richness and media arts, we’re thrilled to have a media hub in Los Angeles. TVK24 has been a longstanding partner of ACMA, previously airing all of Cathlyn’s Korean Kitchen cooking shows for years and, later, the Asian Pacific Voices TV series since 2013. This partnership will allow us to expand our reach and even provide our TAKE ONE workshop for the youth in LA to experience within a real television network studio environment.”

Established in 2003, TVK24 is a leading cable broadcast network committed to serving Asian American communities, reaching over 30 million households across the United States.

Eric Yoon, CEO of TVK24, shared his excitement about partnering with ACMA, emphasizing the importance of representation and voice for Asian Pacific Islander communities in the US. “TVK24 is honored to collaborate with ACMA in providing a platform for cultural expression and representation. This partnership aims to amplify diverse voices and stories, empowering our Asian Pacific Islander communities and fostering greater understanding and unity.”

The partnership between ACMA and TVK24 marks a significant milestone in advancing media arts and cultural representation in the Los Angeles area. Together, they are poised to make a lasting impact on the media landscape, championing diversity, inclusion, and creativity.
