This grant will play a pivotal role in supporting ACMA’s TAKE ONe vocational youth media arts training and high school STEAM internship program.

ACMA’s TAKE ONe program is designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship to young individuals, empowering them with valuable media arts skills and fostering their creativity. ACMA’s Executive Director Cathlyn Choi said, “We are deeply thankful to the National Endowment for the Arts for their generous support. This grant is a testament to our shared commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for AANHPI and other underserved communities in Southern California. With support from NEA, we can uphold our mission of providing impactful media arts programs that empower youth, stimulate creativity, and nurture cultural understanding”.

The grant from NEA Project Grant FY23 enables ACMA to enhance its efforts in cultivating the next generation of media arts professionals and storytellers. By blending creativity, technology, and cultural awareness, ACMA remains dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals and the broader community.
