NBC Universal Local Impact Grant

Asian Culture and Media Alliance receives local impact grant from The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation

We are proud to announce that Asian Culture and Media Alliance(ACMA) is a winner of The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation’s 2023 Local Impact Grants Challenge. The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation is granting nearly $2.5 million this year to non-profits that are strengthening our communities.

By winning this competitive grant, we hope to continue strengthening our community. Grant programs like this help us achieve our mission in serving the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities to advance the cause for cultural preservation, better equity, inclusion, and diversity through the power of media arts, by driving our local communities forward and fostering a culture of equity and inclusion. With this newly won grant, ACMA will be able to continue our mission and media arts initiatives.

We will use the funding to continue providing our TAKE ONE vocational youth media arts training and high school STEAM internship program. This grant is more than an award to our program – it is a celebration of our mission and we are very happy to share this exciting opportunity for growth.
