Asian Culture and Media Alliance (ACMA) awarded a Far South/Border North grant

[Southern California, September 5, 2023] The Asian Culture and Media Alliance (ACMA) is excited to announce its selection as one of the distinguished recipients of the coveted Far South/Border North (FSBN) grant. This esteemed grant, presented to artists and cultural practitioners, serves as a testament to ACMA’s commitment to harnessing the power of media, outreach, and engagement campaigns to address and amplify awareness of critical regional challenges. The FSBN grant program, awarded through a rigorous open-call competition, extends its support to individual artists, cultural practitioners, units of governments, and tribal governments, fostering collaboration among diverse talents from San Diego and Imperial counties.

Expressing her enthusiasm about this milestone achievement, ACMA’s Executive Director remarked, “I am thrilled that ACMA has been selected as a participant in the Far South/Border North grant program. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to our City, FSBN partners, and funders for this incredible opportunity. As the lead artist, I eagerly anticipate the year ahead and the opportunity to collaborate with fellow artists and cultural practitioners. Together, we aim to harness creativity to bring heightened awareness to local issues that matter.”
